Gourmet Drippin’ Pasta with Sausage and Peppers

1 lb               hot Italian sausage

1                   red or green bell pepper

½                  onion (sliced and diced)

2                   roma tomatoes (diced)

1 tbsp          fresh oregano

½ tbsp         Italian seasoning

½ jar            Drippin’s Sauce: Sweet Onion

½ bag         Gourmet Texas Pasta: such as “Basil Garlic Onion fettuccine”

½ cup          shredded gruyere or parmigiano cheese

 

Brown the sausage in large, deep skillet with lid. Add diced peppers, onion tomatoes. Stir in and cook for 5-10 minutes. Add jar of Drippin’ Sauce and Italian seasoning. Let it come to a boil without the lid then simmer, covered, stirring occasionally for 30-45 minutes. Add fresh oregano and cheese before serving.
